AndrewDelaware Electric Cooperative’s President and CEO has been honored for his nearly two decades of service. Bill Andrew was presented with the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association’s (NRECA) Regional Award for Outstanding Service.

The award is presented to individuals who have a proven record of promoting cooperative values and working  to serve members. Andrew’s ability to empower members to keep their rates low and his work to engage more than 140 DEC employees were cited as a few of the many reasons he was honored.

During his acceptance speech, Andrew told the crowd of several hundred people, “This award has to be spread among many, especially the 142 employees at Delaware Electric Cooperative who work every day safely and productively to meet the ever-changing needs of our members.”

Andrew has served as President and CEO of Delaware Electric Cooperative since January of 2005.
