Chains announces 40 under 40 recipients

Founder and Executive Director Erin Hutt  created the 40 Under 40 to empower the next generation of young leaders who are leading by example, displaying academic excellence and creating positive change, according to a release.

This award is given to 40 outstanding Delaware industry professionals under the age of 40 who stand out in all aspects of their lives, the release stated.  The nomination process included a three-month public nomination acceptance process.

The list includes Ashley Biden, the daughter of the Vice President, who heads the Delaware Center for Justice.

Proceeds from this year’s ceremony will go towards scholarships for our 20 under 20 honorees in 2016.

An event honoring the recipients of the awared will be held on Sept. 27 at World Café Live at the Queen, Wilmington.
