Screen Shot 2015-03-05 at 7.56.26 PMThe Delaware Journal of Corporate Law and the Institute of Delaware Corporate and Business Law are collaborating to create a blog to discuss timely business law topics. The Journal’s website will contain the full blog post, and the Institute’s website will contain a summary of the post and a corresponding link.

This effort is being coordinated by the Journal’s Volume 40 External Managing Editor Tara Pakrouh and the John F. Schmutz Corporate and Business Law Institute Fellow Olufunke Fagbami, who is also the Journal’s Volume 40 Copy Editor.

“I’m excited about the efforts of the Journal staff to develop the content for this blog,” said Lawrence A. Hamermesh, director of the Institute, “and I look forward to seeing this content amplify the Journal’s already extensive influence and reputation in the field of corporate and business law.”

The Institute faculty and  Fagbami will be instrumental in selecting the blog topics. Journal members will work closely with the Institute faculty to produce content. “The Journal is grateful for this opportunity to partner with the Institute, and to afford our members more writing opportunities,” Pakrouh said.

Students will write two-page blog posts, which will be reviewed by the Institute and edited by the Journal for publication on the Journal website. In addition to blog topics, the website will contain case summaries and comments.

Both Fagbami and. Pakrouh believe this is a great opportunity for all involved. “The institute and the Journal already have a close working relationship, and this collaboration will only strengthen that relationship,” said Fagbami.
