A ceremonial ribbon cutting was held last week for the new Four Points by Sheraton near Route 273 and Old Baltimore Pike in the Christiana area.

The ceremony was held under the auspices of the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce.   The property opened in January.

The mid-priced hotel, located south of Newark, is at the site of a former Comfort Suites hotel that closed a few years ago.

.The hotel was refitted, with additional floors added to the building. The complex now has 120 rooms, as well as a spa, meeting spaces and spa with massages.
