Food Network celebrity chef Robert Irvine stopped by the Comcast Call Center last week to talk with a group of veterans who work at the site south of Newark.

Irvine is a veteran of the British Royal Navy and started his cooking career in that branch of the military. Irvine has been involved in efforts to aid veterans.
Comcast is an active participant in the Hiring Our Heroes campaign. The company has hired more than 3,000 veterans in just three years under the initiative. The company has more than 1,000 employees in Delaware.
