lsecurisSecuris, sn IT asset auditing, recycling and data destruction services, finalized their operating permit with the state of Delaware.

The permit gives Securis Delaware full operational status to shred and degauss hard drives both on site at customer facilities and off site at its New Castle location.

Additionally, the permit provides the organization with full e-waste recycling  capabilities. Securis Delaware now has the only facility approved by the Delaware  Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) for both data destruction and e-waste recycling currently operating in the state.

“We’re extremely pleased to be able to offer both data destruction and recycling services to Delaware corporations and agencies,” said Delaware franchise owner Gregory  Haslinsky. “Properly destroying the data left on retired IT assets before disposing of it is critical in order to avoid an expensive, and embarrassing, data breach.”

Over the last decade, Securis has performed IT asset and data destruction services  – both on site and off site – for hundreds of organizations throughout the east coast, from  government agencies and contractors to financial services and health care firms to data  centers, IT companies and professional service firms.
