With contractors moving quickly on the new Chick-Fil-A Restaurant planned for the Milford Plaza Shopping Center, there are just as many moving parts happening behind the scenes as on the construction site.

Owner and operator of the Milford Chick-Fil-A Chris Hobert has been training with the corporate offices as he prepares to open his first business. Literally a world away from his former life, where the Naval Academy grad servedas a member of the Navy SEALs, Hobert says his training in teamwork and leadership will be a major asset.

Hobert’s family owned a hardware business where he worked for several years and he always knew that he wanted to start his own business. During his years of service he spent time researching running a small business and was encouraged by a family member to look into a Chick-Fil-A franchise. No opening date has been announced for the restaurant.
