Ground broken for First Shore Bank branch in Millsboro

FSF GroundbreakingGillis Gilkerson, Salisbury, Md., announced the ground breaking of the ninth branch of First Shore Federal Bank in Millsboro,

“We welcome the returning business from First Shore Federal,” said Dwight Miller, president, Gillis Gilkerson. “We have a great working relationship with the bank and look forward to expanding their footprint into Millsboro, Delaware.”

The new bank will cover close to 5,000 square feet at 220 Washington Street and includes Energy Star /LED lighting fixtures.

First Shore Federal Savings & Loan Association, headquartered in Salisbury MD, broke ground on its ninth branch in Millsboro, Delaware on June 25, 2014.
Joining First Shore Federal board members, officers and staff at the ground breaking were representatives of the Town of Millsboro, Sussex County and Delaware Economic Development Office as well as the contractor, Gillis Gilkerson, subcontractor, Melvin Joseph Company, and design firm George Miles and Buhr.
