Law firm Morris James awards 5 year disaster recovery contract to IPR International

ipr-logoIPR International has been awarded a five-year contract by Morris James LLP to provide disaster recovery in its private cloud environment.

The data hotel was added in downtown Wilmington in cooperation with the State of Delaware, which provided a $3.5 million infrastructure grant. The ability of businesses and other employers to connect to high-speed “dark fiber” networks often viewed as a key tool in economic development.

Wilmington-based Morris James, a leading Delaware law firm with offices in six locations throughout the state, serves clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to financial institutions to government agencies. As part of this new agreement, IPR will house Morris James’ data in its secure data center, allowing the law firm’s IT staff to focus on mission-critical priorities that contribute directly to its growth.

IPR’s Business Continuity Center (BCC) is a full-service data center with ample space, power, and cooling located below ground in a high-security building, according to an IPR release.

The Morris James contract adds to IPR’s portfolio of clients within the legal area. Legal clients include Delaware-based Potter Anderson and  Bayard, as well as Wilson Elser, and Archer Greiner. Overall, IPR’ has more than 100 clients in health care, financial services, insurance, and other areas.
