The 2014 Lewes Polar Bear Plunge to benefit Special Olympics Delaware drew 3,252 participants early Sunday afternoon.
The annual event presented by Wawa raised more than $725,000, a record. The event took place at a relatively balmy temperature of 50 degrees. However, the water temperature was 34.
