The Delaware Small Business Chamber (DSBC) has announced a small business convoy tomorrow (Small Business Saturday).

The  chamber is looking to bring at least 100 small businesses together to create a convoy of vehicles with businesses names on them to create a visual impact and build awareness.

Bob Older, president and founder of the DSBC said “We will make history here creating the largest business vehicle convoy at least in the state of Delaware that we hope will continue to grow year after year.”

The Small Business Convoy will leave Prices Corner at  9 a.m.  and drive down Kirkwood  Highway  and through some of the shopping center parking lots to Possum Park then turn around and drive back.  The  event will last less than an hour

“This year, we will do this run from Prices Corner to Possum Park and back, but our ultimate goal, being a statewide chamber, is to do this concurrently throughout the state in years to come”  said Older.

The event is free for all participants even if the business is not yet a member of the DSBC.

The Delaware Small Business Chamber works with  small businesses from no employees to 50 employees and companies with over 50 employees that do business with local small businesses. Further information is available at  www.dsbchamber.com or by calling  302-482-2120
