Bloomberg is reporting that PBF Energy Inc has delayed a  sulfur unit turnaround at the Delaware City, Delaware, refinery until next spring rather than this fall. Bloomberg reported the refinery is undergoing a turnaround project.

Work on a fluid catalytic cracker is planned for the fall of 2014,  according to Bloomberg, which cited anonymous sources.

PBF does not comment on such reports as part of company policy. Refiners are also wary of commenting because such reports can have an impact on prices.

Gas supplies are currently in good shape, with a number of Delaware stations posting prices below $3.25 a gallon. The refinery is required to report releases of pollutants into the air and water, but is not required to disclose the effect on production. Such reports have, at times, affected gas futures prices.
