New York trucker buys Diamond State Warehousing

The Rochester Business Journal reported that Leonard’s Express Inc. has acquired Diamond State Warehousing and Distribution, New Castle.

Diamond State has 40 truck tractors and serves customers at the Port of Wilmington, according to its website.

Founders Pat and Rich Bastian will continue to work with the company, the business journal reported.

Leonard’s express is a family owned company with 17 terminals nationwide. The company is based in Farmington, N.Y.

Terms were not disclosed, the business journal reported.
