[Not a valid template]This week,  the brewery in Milton made a first run with a new packaging line.

The brewery has been testing the packaging using bottles with water. The line is part of a major expansion of  the brewery, which had been forced to halt distribution in a few states until capacity could be increased. Despite the constraints, Dogfish Head has seen double-digit increases in sales.

The company also started up its new 200-barrel brewhouse.

Published reports have indicated the cost of the project is $50 million or more  with DelmarvaNow.com reporting the packaging line alone costs $10 million. (Photos courtesy of Dogfish Head  Brewery).
