[Not a valid template]Bayard, a law firm based in Wilmington, announced that Neil B. Glassman has been recognized by Super Lawyers magazine as a Delaware Super Lawyer in the practice area of bankruptcy & creditor/debtor rights.

Stephen B. Brauerman and Justin R. Alberto have also been recognized by Super Lawyers as Delaware Rising Stars for their achievements in the areas of intellectual property litigation and bankruptcy & creditor/debtor rights, respectively.

Glassman is chairman of the Board of Directors of Bayard and chairs the firm’s bankruptcy group. His practice is focused on bankruptcy and insolvency law, and insurance and entity law.

Glassman regularly represents debtors, official committees of unsecured creditors or equity holders, secured lenders, banks and insurance companies, financial institutions and publicly and privately held businesses in large bankruptcy cases and other insolvency proceedings including insurance company insolvencies. Glassman has also developed a substantial practice representing clients in relation to the law of Delaware business entities including corporations, business trusts, general and limited partnerships, limited liability companies, and conventional and captive insurance companies.

Brauerman is a director at Bayard. Brauerman concentrates his practice in the areas of corporate, commercial and intellectual property litigation in Delaware’s state and federal courts. He has litigated an array of cases involving fiduciary duty claims, corporate and alternative entity control disputes, advancement/indemnification, breach of contract, antitrust, securities, patent infringement, copyright infringement, and trademark matters.

Brauerman also counsels clients concerning the General Corporation Law of the State of Delaware and Delaware’s alternative entity statutes. Steve was also recognized as a Rising Star in 2012.

Alberto is an associate at Bayard focuses his practice on corporate bankruptcy and restructuring. He has experience representing debtors, creditors’ committees, equity committees, lenders, bondholders, secured and unsecured creditors, plan administrators, and other interested entities in various bankruptcy reorganization and liquidation proceedings.

In addition to his restructuring practice, Justin also has experience representing entities involved in litigation arising under and transactions governed by the General Corporation Law of the State of Delaware.

Super Lawyers is an annual listing of attorneys from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The Rising Stars list is comprised of attorneys who have been practicing for less than 10 years or are under 40 years old. No more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are named to the list.
