Nationally known Delaware sculptor Charles Cropper Parks died Thursday at at 90. Parks operated a studio in Wilmington and his works can be seen throughout Delaware. He was born in Virginia and grew up in north Wilmington. He served as a lieutenant in the Air Force in World War II.
Last year, 290 of his works were donated to the State of Delaware.
