HandyTube to mark expansion with ribbon cutting

    A ribbon cutting is slated for Saturday at HandyTube in Camden, Del.

    Sen. Tom Carper will speak at the event. He will join hundreds of HandyTube employees and family members to mark the grand opening of  an 8,000-square-foot expansion project at the site.

    HandyTube, formerly CamDel Metals, produces long seamless coiled tubing through cold drawing and solution annealing and currently offers the longest continuous length seamless coils available.

    HandyTube is part of Handy & Harman, a company based in White Plains, N.Y.

    Handy & Harman also owns Arlan, a company based in Bear, Del. that manufactures and develops silicone rubber and silicone adhesive technologies.
