2nd strong-arm robbery near mall bus stop

    Delaware State Police are investigating the strong-arm robbery in a field north of the Christiana Mall.
    It was the second such robbery near the mall southeast of Newark in recent days.
    At about 7:15 a.m., Tuesday, a man, 25, was walking to the Christiana Mall, through a field in the area of the bus depot on the north side of the mall property.
    The victim was approached from behind by two men with one suspect punching him in the side of his face and the other suspect punching him in the back of the head, knocking him to the ground. The suspects demanded property and money. The victim turned over his wallet. The suspects fled on foot towards the Cavalier Country Club Apartments. The victim received minor injuries from the assault but refused medical treatment, troopers said.
    The suspects were described as two black males, 18 to 20 years of age. One suspect is 5 feet, 8 inches to 5 ft 10 inches tall. The other was 6 feet tall, 180 to 200 pounds. He was wearing a white t-shirt and black pants.
