Entertainer Jimmy Buffett was joined by New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie in announcing the opening of a Margaitaville casino and entertainment complex within the aging Resorts Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City.
The complex will include a tropical-themed casino, along with bars and restaurants bearing the Margaritaville and LandShark names of Buffett’s enterprises. The board facade of Resorts will be changed to reflect the Margaitaville theme. NJ.com reported the cost will run around $35 million.
