A suspect in the murder of a woman found dead in a Dewey Beach motel room was found dead at a New Jersey lodging establishment, Delaware State Police reported on Tuesday.
Troopers were told by the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, Major Crimes Division, that Pawan Kumar has been found dead in the Bellville Motor Lodge, Bellville, NJ.
State Police had earlier obtained arrest warrants for Pawan Kumar of north Wilmington. Pawan is a suspect in a murder investigation after a woman was found dead at the Atlantic Oceanside Motel in Dewey Beach.
The Medical Examiner’s Office is continuing their investigation into the cause of death. The victim has yet to be identified. Anyone that knows the whereabouts of Pawan Kumar should contact Det.
