The Delaware Financial Literacy Institute (DFLI), with support from ING Direct and Delmarva Digital, launched an updated  website, designed to better promote the hundreds of classes and other programs it offers.

This enhanced site takes our organization to the next level,” said Ronni Cohen, Executive Director, DFLI. “We’re very grateful for the support of ING Direct especially project leader and Board member Jeff Chapman, and Delmarva Digital for their help in bringing our vision of the “new” dfli.org to life.”

Founded as The Money School in 1999 by then- State Treasurer Jack Markell, DFLI incorporated in 2001 and opened its office in 2002. Since then, DFLI has provided more than 5,000 free classes, events and programs statewide. A not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization, DFLI’s mission is to equip individuals — especially those of low to moderate income — with the tools to get their financial lives in order so that they can become self-sufficient and enjoy financial well-being over time.
