Doug’s latest blog entry takes a look at the slowly declining unemployment rate and the cautious course the state is taking in terms of reducing the number of public employees.
At the same time reasons why any fiscal windfall in state coffers this year should go to improving the state’s roads, bridges and other areas of the infrastructure, rather than a pay hike for employees. The Markell administration believes the money cannot be relied on in coming years.
