Thousands of real estate agents and employees with Long & Foster Real Estate, including those at the Greenville Sales office in Greenville took part in the company’s 20th annual Community Service Day last month.

Long & Foster’s Community Service Day took place at its over 220 locations throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. The annual event provides an opportunity for Long & Foster agents and staff to give back to their communities through a variety of service projects, including food drives, park clean-ups and more.

The Greenville Sales office chose to volunteer with the Mary Campbell Center, which provides a home for children and adults with disabilities.

From the day the Mary Campbell Center opened in 1976, they have successfully maintained a home-like environment. The organization prides itself on always showing respect for every resident and in helping to establish and maintain personal dignity.

Agents from Greenville Sales office repaired decking on the path that winds through the beautiful gardens, providing a safe route for those in wheelchairs.

The Center’s buses were washed, vacuumed and cleaned. The laundry received a fresh coat of paint. And, finally, agents spent some time with residents creating bird feeders made from oranges, peanut butter, bird seed, and pretzels.
