SevOne, announced that Mark Thompson has joined its executive team as Chief Revenue Officer. In this role, he will oversee all aspects of global sales and business development, including management of the sales team and cultivating and maintaining major client engagements.

Thompson spent more than 20 years in various capacities at CA Technologies, where he was instrumental in cultivating and maintaining customer partnerships and in building the business globally. He also served as CEO of OpTier, a provider of data transactional analysis services. He attended the University of Rhode Island, where he earned a BA degree in Marketing.

Archer Group promotion

The Archer Group, Wimington,  announced this month the promotion of Frank Lee from Technical Architect to Director of Back End Development.

Lee has been instrumental in identifying software development solutions for a range of client initiatives, as well as advising our teams during the technical discovery phase. He has also stepped up as a leader over his six-year tenure, guiding the back end developers and their processes.

Before joining Archer in 2010, Lee worked with fuel and power traders at Conectiv Energy, now Delmarva Power. There he developed software that supported the trading floor, solving challenges traders faced with incoming data by sorting and displaying it more intuitively. These applications enabled around 150 traders to make better-informed decisions in real time and subsequently more money, and influenced his ability to develop functional solutions under pressure.

Nanticoke  adds to medical staff

Nanticoke Health Services welcomed Arvind K. Gireesh, MD, FACC to its active medical staff. Gireesh is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases.

He received his Doctor of Medicine from the Saba University School of Medicine in Saba, Netherlands Antilles. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center and his cardiology and interventional cardiology training at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts. Gireesh is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.

Hines named account executive

Natalie Hines has been named as account executive at  Tipton Communications, Newark.  Hines coordinates employee communication efforts, provides public relations and media support and develops marketing communications and social media programs for clients as a communications specialist.

Before joining Tipton in 2015, Natalie served as a social media ambassador for the University of Delaware, president of the Public Relations Student Society of America Chapter at UD and as a marketing and social media assistant for the Career Services Center. 

A graduate of the University of Delaware, Natalie earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communication.

Hoey Stevenson  named to Planning and Zoning Commission

Sussex County Council appointed Kim Hoey Stevenson, to a seat on the five-member panel, a Council-appointed body that reviews and gives consideration toward subdivision applications and other land use requests.

The appointment will take effect immediately and will last through June 2017, when the current three-year term ends. Commissioners are paid $250 a meeting. The commission’s next meeting is at 6 p.m. Feb. 23.

Hoey Stevenson currently works as the Delaware Senate Republican Caucus’ communications director, and owns a freelance writing business.

Fleming joins Patterson-Schwartz Real Estate

Patterson-Schwartz Real Estate welcomed Nancy Anne Fleming to their Greenville office sales team. Fleming, whose career in the real estate industry spans over 30 years, is licensed in Delaware and Pennsylvania, and holds a Certified Sales Professional designation. She has built a strong background in sales and marketing, and has worked with many top local home builders.
