Tara Lattomus of Eckert Seamans’ Wilmington office was recently recognized by the Office of Child Advocate (OCA) for serving for 10 years as a Guardian Ad Litem.
In this role, Lattomus is a volunteer attorney who commits her time and energy to representing Delaware’s abused, neglected, and dependent children in civil family court proceedings.
Since 2006, Lattomus has dedicated more than 600 hours of pro bono work to OCA. She represents children in foster care and in private guardian cases as appointed by judges in the family court in Delaware.

Lattomus is the Wilmington office’s representative on the firm’s Pro Bono Committee. She practices within the firm’s hospitality, bankruptcy and restructuring, and litigation groups. She earned her J.D., cum laude, in 1996 from Villanova University School of Law, where she served as editor of the Villanova Law Review and earned her B.A., summa cum laude, in 1993 from Wesley College.
