Inc. magazine recently ranked Benchworks, a marketing services agency, No. 1005 on its 35th annual Inc. 5000. Benchworks is based in Chestertown, MD.
The average company on the list achieved three-year growth of 433 percent. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue is $200 billion, and the companies on the list collectively generated 640,000 jobs over the past three years, or about 8 percent of all jobs created in the entire economy during that period
This year marks the second time Benchworks has been included on the Inc. 5000, appearing alongside such companies as Pandora, Domino’s Pizza, LinkedIn, Yelp and Timberland. Benchworks’ ranking is based on its three-year sales growth of 395 percent and revenue of $31.1 million.
