Milano will concentrate his practice on patents, trademarks, and trade secret law with a  focus on patents in mechanical areas and the medical device and automotive industries.

“We are pleased to welcome Mario to our expanding Delaware intellectual property law practice,” said Martin G. Belisario, Panitch Schwarze Belisario & Nadel partner. “Mario’s background and experience fits in well with our firm’s patent practice, and we look forward to adding him to the legal teams that secure and protect our clients’ IP rights.”

Panitch Schwarze handles all facets of intellectual property law, from patent prosecution, litigation and licensing to trademark disputes, copyright infringement and domain name and Internet issues.
Milano comes to Panitch Schwarze from IP law firm Lerner, David, Littenberg, Krumholz, & Mentlik, LLP in Westfield, N.J., where he served as a patent agent and an associate.

He successfully prosecuted patents for clients ranging from large companies to solo inventors and worked with foreign associates to oversee the prosecution of worldwide Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) patent applications.
