The deadline is nearing for participation in Delaware’s Project Pop Up program.
The program offers three months of free rent for retail space during the holidays in six downtowns in Delaware. A number of Project Pop Up participants have seen their retail stores turn into permanent businesses.
communities participating are Middletown, Milton, Milford, Wilmington, Seaford and Smyrna.
Early stage businesses that are generating revenue and have a proven customer base, as well as
well‐established businesses that are considering expansion are eligible. Delaware businesses are preferred and\ will be given priority to compete for available spaces.
The deadline for applications is 5 p.m., Aug. 6. businesses must operate during the final three months of 2014.
