Peninsula shows support for USO

USO Pictures 005Oil delivery company, Peninsula, has wrapped one of its fuel oil delivery trucks with the colors and logo of the USO. In addition, the company is donating 1 cent for every gallon of oil delivered off the truck  The company is based in Seaford.

.The USO of Delaware is well known across the Delmarva peninsula, and wrapping their vehicle gives Peninsula a chance to show their support with every delivery they make. Currently, the truck can be seen making deliveries across the Delmarva, as well as at parades and other USO functions, according to the company.

“We at Peninsula are very proud that we have a truck that represents our community spirit,” says John Willey II, president. “This truck symbolizes what so many people in our service area work for. The funds from this truck go directly to USO Delaware who, in turn, helps all the brave men and women and their families in the Delmarva Peninsula area.” More information can be found on their website, penoil.com. Founded in 1935 by James Emory Willey, Peninsula  is headed today by John Willey II, who has continued a tradition of community involvement.
