The Technology Forum of Delaware will take a look at a precious resource on May 21 with a Clean Water Technologies in Delaware event.

Speakers are Collin O’Mara and Jeff Fulgham. O’Mara currently serves as Secretary of Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control. This summer he will leave the state post to head the National Wildlife Federation.

O’Mara will discuss the Clean Water for Delaware’s Future initiative recently proposed by Gov. Jack Markell and how clean water technologies play a role in the initiative. The program aims to clean up Delaware’s waterways, which rank among the most polluted in the nation.

The program includes a fee that would be added to the property tax to fund clean water programs.
