Pioneer Hi-Bred, is being changed to reflect the corporate ownership of parent DuPont. The business has become a key part of DuPont, with growth rates in excess of the figures for many of the company’s other businesses.

The name “DuPont Pioneer” will be phased in gradually, first to growers and suppliers and then to the public with a new corporate logo that will maintain the familiar trapezoid border, Pioneer spokeswoman Jane Slusark said Wednesday.
