Cyberattacks workshop for small businesses

June 11 @ 8:30 am - 10:00 pm

Free

The Delaware Small Business Development Center will provide a free workshop on the dangers of outside threats such as cyber-attacks, and how to make your business more resilient against other hidden dangers.

“Everyone knows about the big cyber hacks at Target, Equifax and Home Depot,” said Jacob Blacksten, technology business Advisor with the SBDC. “However, no one hears about the attacks that small businesses face, because typically, the business cannot survive.”

Participants will be provided the tools and knowledge to defend their small businesses from cyber-attacks; learn about the NIST framework and how to leverage it to stay safe, and mitigate the event of a cyber-attack. You will also learn about the free resources and tools the SBDC has to offer a small business if a hack should occur so that your business will be able to survive.

The event is free, but registration is required. See link below.
