SEPTA announced Regional Rail schedules adjustments starting this weekend
The changes will affect the Wilmington/Newark line.
The railroad noted that significant adjustments on the Wilmington/Newark Line will be made to accommodate Amtrak bridge work in the Chester area. That works begins in mid-September.
New timetables will go into effect on Sunday, August 27.
These changes will maintain Regional Rail service at 75% of pre-Covid levels. Regional Rail ridership is only about 60% of pre-pandemic levels.
Delaware subsidizes service that extends into Delaware that includes stops in Claymont, Wilmington, Christiana-Stanton and Newark.
In addition to the schedule information posted online, SEPTA will continue to share real-time service updates on the official SEPTA app and @SEPTA.
