UD business school dean candidates will participate in town hall meetings with university community

Four candidates for the position of dean of the University of Delaware Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics at the University of Delaware will visit the campus and participate in town hall meetings open to the University community beginning Wednesday, May 3.

Reporting directly to the provost, the dean is a key member of the University’s senior administrative team and is responsible for leadership of the college.

Assisting with the search is the consulting firm of Education Executives, LLC, which specializes in searches for higher education leadership.

Bruce Weber, who has served as the dean of the college since 2011, will step down at the conclusion of the current academic year and, effective July 17, will become the Willem Kooyker Dean of the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, City University of New York.
