The Delaware Department of Safety and Homeland Security Division of Gaming Enforcement along with the Seaford Police Department conducted a search warrant within the city of Seaford in connection an investgation of illegal lottery operations.
The ongoing investigation by Delaware State Police detectives assigned to the Division of Gaming Enforcement identified a residence operating a lottery numbers game.
Ramon Diaz-Lopez was arrested at the Woolford Street residence. U.S. currency and gambling equipment were seized from the residence.
Diaz-Lopez was transported to Troop 5 where he was processed and arraigned on his charges. He was released on his own recognizance.
