he Delaware Department of Safety and Homeland Security Division of Gaming Enforcement and the Seaford Police Department conducted two search warrants within the city of Seaford in connection with illegal lottery operations.
An investigation by Delaware State Police detectives assigned to the Division of Gaming Enforcement identified two residences that were operating a lottery numbers game within the home. Police with search warrants arrested Jose Lopez, 68, at a home on Market Street, and Aneury Jimenez,36 was arrested at a home on Pine Street. Gambling equipment and cash were seized from both residences.
Both men were transported to Troop 5 where they were processed, arraigned and released and their own recognizance.
