On January 6, an Ocean View family reported home improvement fraud. Detectives learned that Michael Tyler Joseph, owner of Elite Hardscapes LLC, had previously agreed to build an addition to their home. The family paid Joseph over $23,000 for the project, but the work was not completed, with no reimbursement.

There is currently an active felony warrant for Home Improvement Fraud for Joseph, who may have used other company names in addition to Elite Hardscapes LLC. The warrant will be executed when he is extradited to Delaware.
