Owners of the Salisbury, MD-based construction and development firm Gillis Gilkerson purchased an industrial building in Milford.
“The principals of Gillis Gilkerson’s development team purchased this building with intent to lease it fully in the coming months,” stated George Merritt, an advisor for NAI Coastal, a real estate affiliate of Gillis Gilkerson.
The sales price was not immediatley disclosed.
The recently renovated 68,000 square foot industrial building totals is partially occupied by First State Manufacturing, an upholstery supplier for the military and other clients The remaining 34,000 square feet is currently vacant and available for lease.
The building has a fire sprinkler system and features 12-foot ceilings with drive-in and dock-high doors. Outdoor parking and storage space make the property ideal for manufacturing, storage, and/or distribution users, a release stated.
