Delaware continues to see a decline in Covid-19 cases after a holiday mini-surge, according to the weekly report from the Delaware Division of Public Health.

There were two new deaths reported in the last week and nine new deaths reported after a review of vital statistics between December and January.

The individuals ranged from their 40s to 90s, nine had underlying health conditions, and nine were fully vaccinated (completed the primary series). Six were from New Castle County, two were from Kent County and 3 were from Sussex County. Delaware’s total number of Covid-related deaths stands at 3,254.

Figures for those who died and received booster vaccines are typically released in the monthly report.
