ChristianaCare-GoHealth Urgent Care relocated and reopened its Glasgow center to a location on Pulaski Highway at Biddle Avenue, across the street from Smoke’s Smokehouse barbecue stand.

The new center at 2675 Pulaski Highway is a mile northwest of its previous Glasgow Medical Center location.

The center serves the Glasgow area 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week.

ChristianaCare-GoHealth’s new Glasgow center offers treatment for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, on-site X-ray services, COVID-19 testing, flu shots for patients ages six months and older, sports physicals for kids, and other services.

The new Glasgow center features GoHealth Urgent Care’s design, with interiors that include wood accents, curved surfaces and customer-friendly technology that create a uniquely comfortable environment.

“Our Glasgow center has been fortunate to serve this community for 30 years,” said Robert Malizia, M.D., regional president, GoHealth Urgent Care. “We’re thrilled to reopen it in this brand new location that is even more convenient for our customers, offering outstanding care when and where they need it.”

Patients in Glasgow or near any of ChristianaCare-GoHealth’s 10 locations in Delaware and two in Maryland can be seen by walking into any center or going online to save a spot and pre-register. Patients may also connect with a ChristianaCare-GoHealth provider remotely with a virtual visit using their smartphone, computer or tablet.

The new Glasgow center is part of ChristianaCare-GoHealth’s strategy of placing urgent care centers in accessible locations For a full list of ChristianaCare-GoHealth locations, visit gohealthuc.com/christianacare.
