Liquidation sales are underway at 115 Sears Hometown stores across 36 states and Puerto Rico after a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing in Delaware.
The only Sears Hometown store is in Seaford.

Sears Hometown was part of an effort by Sears to reverse long-running sales declines by offering its well-known Craftsman and Kenmore brands in smaller store formats.
The parent company also acquired Kmart, another troubled chain and eventually shut down all of its stores.
