Great Dames is launching a major initiative to enable women to invest in women and girls by becoming part of its new Great Dames Giving Circle. Members who join by Dec. 31, 2022, will be recognized publicly as Great Dames Giving Circle Founders. The Great Dames THRIVE! year-end holiday event will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 13, at 5:30-6:30 p.m., and will include Giving Circle news.
Founders will help more women and girls thrive by supporting initiatives like those led by women in the global Great Dames community. Additionally, they will have a say in selecting the nonprofit to receive the nonprofit’s premiere grant. Founders can also invite young women to join at no cost.
“We understand that many nonprofits seek support this time of year, and we believe that investing in women with diverse backgrounds and perspectives is key to a more equitable and sustainable future,” says Great Dames President and CEO Sharon Kelly Hake. “This tax-deductible investment will benefit the Great Dames Action Fund, which provides seed grants and donations to women, girls, and women-serving organizations worldwide.”

The Great Dames Action Fund provides scholarships and seed grants to women, girls, and women-focused organizations.
