A  dangerous arctic cold front will roll through Delaware Friday, potentially creating icy conditions for travelers and last-minute shoppers.

The National Weather Service cautioned that a Friday morning period of rain, perhaps followed by a brief period of snow or mixed precipitation and the arctic blast could create icy roads and lead to winds of 50 miles an hour.

Temperatures will drop below freezing and remain there for a few days.
