The Bridge ministry to acquire 5th FM radio frequency in region

The Bridge of Hope, Inc, a ministry that owns FM radio frequencies covering Delaware, Maryland, the Eastern Shore of Virginia and South Jersey, announced the purchase of its 5th radio station. An application to purchase 89.3 FM, WNJB, licensed to Bridgeton, NJ, and currently owned by WHYY, Inc. has been filed with the Federal Communications Commission.

WNJB-FM is a Class A radio station and will add an additional 400,000 or more people to the coverage area of The Bridge. The Bridge currently operates WNJH, 105.5 FM licensed to Cape May Courthouse, NJ, and the new frequency will complement the South Jersey footprint of the stations to include Bridgeton, Vineland, Millville, Glassboro, Salem, and other areas.

The Bridge also owns and operates WKNZ, 88.7 FM serving Harrington-Dover, DE, WNKZ, 92.5 FM serving Pocomoke-Salisbury, MD, and W235DD, 94.9 FM serving Ocean City, MD.

The Bridge is a non-commercial, contemporary Christian music format radio network with studios and offices in Milford.
