Following shootings on May 24 at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, President Joe Biden ordered flags at all U.S. government buildings and facilities to be flown at half-staff.
Gov. John Carney ordered both the U.S. and Delaware flags at state buildings and facilities to be flown at half-staff until sunset on May 28.
Carney vowed to continue to support legislation aimed at dealing with gun-related violence including the long-running wave of school shootings. The death toll in the shootings now totals 19.
