“We are excited about the talent, experience, and opportunities Mangos brings to our agency and clients,” said Paul Pomeroy, president of AB&C. “Everything about Mangos aligns perfectly with our agency culture, approach, and vision. From their core values to their thoughtful methodology to an approach to client creative work that is rooted in strategic thinking, it’s an ideal and natural fit. We’re excited for the new opportunities that lie ahead for our agency and, more importantly, for our clients and the industries and communities they serve.”

Pomeroy said AB&C had been an admirer of Mangos’ work.  Pomeroy got to know one of the partners. Both found the agencies had a complementary culture as well as a desire for independence in a world populated by multinational advertising giants.

Mangos specializes in creative work and in gaining a deep understanding of the needs of clients, but did not have the full-service capabilities of AB&C, Pomeroy noted. Mangos also comes with  an international presence, an area where AB&C sees the potential for growth,

AB&C and Mangos collaborated with celebrities to announce the acquisition. In a video, the agencies used the likes of Cheri Oteri, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Kenny G, and Michael Rapaport to declare the acquisition “kind of a big deal.” Click here for a link to the video.

The Mangos office will close with staff working out of AB&C’s offices in Pennsylvania and Delaware.

Staff will have the opportunity to collaborate with AB&C to provide additional services, including public relations, social media marketing, digital marketing, market research, and media. With national and international clients such as Vanguard, FM Global, Leica Microsystems, Trinity Health and Airgas.

“We are pleased to combine our talent and expertise with that of AB&C,” said Bradley Gast, partner at Mangos. “For the last year, we have been seeking to partner with an organization that would help us to expand our offerings, particularly in the areas of PR, social, research, digital, and media services. AB&C not only satisfies that need but through our combined resources, enables us to offer even more services and value to our clients.”

Over the past several years, annual growth at AB&C has seen a steady average growth rate of 10%, with the agency seeing consistent growth as it approaches its half-century mark, a release stated.

AB&C has offices in Wilmington and in, Philadelphia,  and Bloomsburg, PA.
