Delaware State Police arrested Keith Stubbs, 56, of New Castle after allegedly pointing a gun at a driver Monday afternoon.

Troopers were called that afternoon to FedEx’s site at 49 Davidson Lane, New Castle.

It was determined  Stubbs was operating a vehicle in front of the business and beeped his horn at two employees who were briefly blocking the roadway. The employees moved their vehicles. Stubbs pulled up next to one of the employees and began cursing. During the exchange, Stubbs displayed a firearm in the direction of the  51-year-old individual and threatened to shoot him.

Stubbs then completed a food delivery at FedEx and left the area. With the assistance of New Castle City police, Troopers found  Stubbs near his place of employment and took him into custody without incident. Officers were unable to recover the weapon used in the incident.

Stubbs was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court and taken to Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on a $2,500 cash bond.
