MySherpa named to list of top managed service providers

MySherpa, based in Pike Creek,  has been named as one of the world’s top (information technology) managed service providers in the  2021 Channel Futures MSP 501 rankings.

The Channel Futures MSP 501 survey examines organizational performance based on annual sales, recurring revenue, profit margins, revenue mix, growth opportunities, innovation, technology solutions supported, and company and customer demographics.

Managed services providers that qualify for the list must pass a review conducted by the research team and editors of Channel Futures that rank applicants using a  methodology that weighs financial performance according to long-term health and viability, commitment to recurring revenue and operational efficiency.

Pete du Pont Freedom Foundation Award goes to MBNA.

The Pete du Pont Freedom Foundation will host its 2021 Freedom Award on  Sept. 16th at the Hotel du Pont , Wilmington.

For the first time in the history of the Freedom Award, the Foundation has chosen to honor a business rather than an individual and this year’s Freedom Award Recipient is former credit card giant MBNA.

Key former MBNA leaders John Cochran, Lance Weaver, and Bruce Hammonds will accept the prestigious Freedom Award on behalf of MBNA.

“This honoree captures both my father’s enthusiasm for entrepreneurial innovation and the priority he placed on job growth,” said Thère du Pont, board chair.

Newark Sir Speedy franchise honored

Sir Speedy, Newark, recently received a sales volume award recognizing the business as one of the Top 10 worldwide Sir Speedy franchise network.

The award is based on 2020 sales revenue and was announced at the annual Sir Speedy Convention in Las Vegas.

This location also received a Top 25 award in the Franchise Services network. Sir Speedy in Newark is owned by John Riley and Alan Gardner and ranked ninth in the network.
