PNC  plans to close its  Greenville branch at 3840 Kennett Pike in Wilmington.

The branch will be  combined with the Talleyville office at  4111 Concord Pike in Wilmington, less than 3.5 miles away.

In addition to the Talleyville Branch, PNC noted that  many other PNC locations and PNC-branded ATMs are within a 5-mile radius that allow our customers fee-free access to their cash.

PNC, like other banks, has been trimming its branch system as more customers performing more banking chores online. The trend accelerated during the Covid-19 pandemic.

“There are more ways to bank with PNC than ever before and we have continued to see our customers taking advantage of the investments we have made in non-branch channels by altering the ways in which they use branches. Shifts in the way customers are conducting their banking transactions are important inputs that inform our branch consolidation decisions,”  PNC spokesperson Marcey Zwiebel stated.
