Good afternoon,
New development and redevelopment projects dominated the list of the 15 most-read stories during May at the Delaware Business Now website.
The top story was the College Square Shopping Center redevelopment, which is being rebranded as the Grove. The mixed-use project will feature 1,000 trees on the former expanse of asphalt and concrete with retail, restaurants, and a 300-plus unit apartment complex.
Another development-related story centered on early plans for a massive pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Middletown. Officials are taking a low-key approach, and the project even has a code name.

Other projects included two Wilmington apartment developments and a boutique hotel from Buccini/Pollin Group. The hotel project also has a partner that operates boutique hotels.
Posts on President Biden’s trips to Delaware ranked two and three on the most-read list. Biden spoke at the annual ceremony at the War Memorial Plaza near the Delaware Memorial Bridge this past weekend.
